Will Katrina Kaif Star Opposite Ranveer Singh In Rohit Shetty's Next? The Director Opens Up!

Rohit Shetty will soon be directing Ranveer Singh in a project which is being touted as a raw action film. There are quite a few speculations surrounding the project wich is the remake of the Telugu hit film Temper. It was being said that Rohit was looking to rope in Katrina Kaif as the female lead. A leading tabloid had also reported that Rohit approached the actress for the role.

Now, the director has negated these rumours saying that nobody has been approached for the role yet. “I am shooting in Hyderabad, I don't know where this story has started coming from. Nobody has been approached for the role as of now”. Rohit also stated that they won’t be approaching anyone till December and that any news before that should be considered as fake.

Just like in the original film, Ranveer will be playing a corrupt police officer. This will be the first time the Bajirao Mastani actor will be playing a cop. He was last seen in ‘Befikre’ which came out last year. He is currently busy with the shoot of ‘Padmavati’ which has a release date of November 17. On the other hand, Katrina was last seen in ‘Jagga Jasoos’ which did not receive a favorable response from the audience.
