Rohit Shetty, Ranveer Singh Working Together For My Name Is Lakhan?

After a lot of talks about the ‘Ram Lakhan’ remake, new reports have stated that Rohit Shetty has approached Ranveer Singh for another project. Apparently, the project is titled ‘My Name is Lakhan’ which was a song from the hit 1989 film. Reports also state that Ranveer liked the idea and gave his nod for the film.

The reports also state that ‘My Name is Lakhan’ is based on the Telugu film ‘Temper’ which starred Jr. NTR. It was helmed by Puri Jagannadh with Kajal Aggarwal as the female lead. NTR played the role of a corrupt cop who falls in love and decides to follow the right path.

Rohit is currently busy with ‘Golmaal Again’ which brings back Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Ajay Devgn and introduces Parineeti Chopra and Tabu to the series. On the other hand, Ranveer is busy with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’ where he will share screen space with Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor. It was recently reported that the actor has also signed Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Gully Boy’ which will put him alongside Alia Bhatt.
