Saif Kareena’s wedding reception: A truly royal affair

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor’s much talked about wedding reception, which was held in the national capital last night, was a truly royal affair in every sense. From the soft lights, pretty white flowers, lovely earthen chandeliers and rich cream and royal maroon decoration at the venue -- an old bungalow of the Pataudis on Aurangzeb road – to the delectable delicacies handpicked from every state, all were simply out of the world. Not only this, the host, veteran actress and Begum of Pataudi Sharmila Tagore, also showed her thoughtfulness and graciousness by arranging a separate spread for those who fast during theNavratras.

The VVIPs who attended the grand party were Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's wife Gursharan Kaur, Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi, Shashi Tharoor and wife Sunanda Pushkar. Besides them film celebrities like Nandita Das, Imtiaz Ali and Madhur Bhandarkar were also seen at theDawat-e-Walima.
