Saif puts on hold, the trailer launch of Happy Ending

In an abrupt turn of events, actor Saif Ali Khan cancelled the trailer launch event of his forthcoming film Happy Ending. It came as quite a surprise for the people associated with the project when they were told about the apparent delay in the trailer release event of the film that Saif produces himself along with Eros.

Happy Ending that also stars Ileana D’Cruz in the lead had a trailer launch event scheduled on 28th of this month but to an expected call by the actor/producer, it had to be called off. The reason given by the actor for postponing the event is date issues and his tight schedule but we wonder if it was that hard for him accommodate a mere event for his own film. When contacted, a source said "Saif has asked for the event to be called off. He has no time on September 28. The producers would now have to do the trailer launch on another date convenient to Saif." Interestingly, film’s co producer Eros International’s spokesperson had a completely different story to convey which said "This is absolutely incorrect where was a trailer launch planned for the 28th in the first place? We're doing it later and no event was planned." The film is being directed by Raj and DK who have earlier collaborated with Saif for Go Goa Gone. The film is scheduled to release in the later part of the year.
