Recently, Salman Khan unveiled the motion poster of his friend Mahesh Manjrekar’s Marathi film FU, which essentially means Friendship Unlimited. The movie stars Sairat heartthrob Aakash Thosar, Madhuri Desai, Sata Majrekar and Sanskruti Balgude. According to recent reports, Salman has also lent his voice for a song, which is an adaptation of the famous yesteryear number ‘Panchhi Banoon Udti Phiru’,  in the musical film.

“Salman fell in love with the song and the way it was recreated”, music director Vishal Mishra stated, adding, “I had the privilege to record it in his voice and he rendered it so well that it gave an all-new dimension to the song. It has now turned out to be the highlight of the film”. Vishal has composed 16 of 21 songs in the movie.

Vishal also revealed a few deets about the flick. “It is more of a cosmopolitan film and has the feel of a Broadway musical. That is also the reason why we have songs in Hindi, Marathi and English, which is a first for any Marathi film”, the musician stated. On a related note Salman and Mahesh have earlier collaborated for Jai Ho, Dabangg, Ready, Bodyguard and Wanted.
