At yesterday’s hearing, on May 19, the fourth witness identified him being drunk on the night of the accident. But there is a twist in the tale as per the latest development. The same witness, a waiter, has denied identifying the actor during cross-questioning saying he can’t remember if the actor consumed alcohol himself or not.

The 42-year-old waiter, Molay Baug, later told the reporters, "That day Salman came at night around 11-11:30PM and he was with his friends. There were around 7-8 of them. He came while the restaurant was quite full so he was standing at the bar for some time. They placed their order...with the manager after which I served the drinks and the food on the table.” He said though he remembers serving Bacardi Rum and cocktails to the group he can’t exactly recall Khan drinking the same. Along with the waiter, another witness, Laxman More, has also testified at the court who is a police constable and also the bodyguard of Salman`s younger brother Sohail Khan. He told to the court that both Sohail and Salman went to Rain Bar that night and around 3:00 a.m. a man came hurriedly to inform him that Salman has met with an accident. He rushed with the man to the accident spot but couldn’t find Salman over there.
