Salman Khan slapped with Rs. 250 crores defamation case

While Salman Khan’s hit-and-run case has been adjourned to July 1, meanwhile, the Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor has tangled himself in another legal trouble. Reportedly, Salman has been slammed with Rs. 250 crores defamation case by Veer producer Vijay Galani. The case has been filed stating that the producer was harassed by the Bodyguard star over non payment of the dues.

As per the reports, Galani and Salman had a deal that if the film, Veer, does well at the Box Office, the producer will pay Rs. 15 crores to the actor. After the film became a hit, Salman, who did not receive the promised amount, took the matter to CINTAA and Federation of Western India Cine Association. Receiving a non-cooperative letter from Salman, Galani took the matter forward to the court.

Galani said that he was at Salman’s place having a fun conversation just before a night he received the non-cooperative letter. Galani questioned, “We were working together for two years and he never mentioned he had any problem with the ‘overflow’ agreement. What made him suddenly wake up about having a problem with the overflow?”. After fighting the case for almost 3 years, it was a win for Galani. Going through the mental stress for three year, the producers has now filed defamation against the Dabangg star. He stated, “I cannot tell you what I’ve gone through during the last three years .My mental agony and the money on lawyers has left me drained. I’ve filed a Rs 250 crore defamation case against Salman for mental agony, harassment, loss of face. Who will give me back the 3 years that I’ve lost?”.
