    Salman Khan to appear before court in Blackbucks poaching case


    TheDabanggof Bollywood Salman Khan will appear before a Jodhpur court in theblackbuckspoaching case of 1998with Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Tabu and Neelam.All are accused of killing two blackbucks on the intervening night of October 1 and October 2 in Kankani village during the filming ofHum Saath Saath Hain.

    Salman was booked under the Section 51 of Wildlife Act, Section 27 of Arms Act and Section 148 of IPC in September 2012, whereas Saif, Tabu, Sonali Bendre, Neelam, Dushyant Singh and Dinesh Gawre were framed under the Section 51 and Section 52 of Wildlife Act, and sections 147 and 149 of IPC.

    The accused had then filed a review petition in Sessions' court, which had discharged Salman from Section 27 of Arms Act and Section 148 of IPC, whereas the others were discharged of Sections 51 of Wildlife Act and Sections 147 and 149 of IPC.

    The state government first appealed to High Court, where Salman was discharged and then moved to Supreme Court against the judgment on the actor, but the apex court had sustained the HC verdict of dropping charges against him under the Section 148.
