Salman Khan To Pay Distributors For Tubelight’s Failure

Salman Khan To Pay Distributors For Tubelight’s Failure

Salman Khan’s movie Tubelight was one of the highly anticipated movies. People had a lot of expectation from the film. However, it seems that fans did not like the innocent look of Bhai. They only wish to see him showing off his muscles and fighting goons. Salman Khan and Kabir Khan’s jodi failed to impress the audience.

If a movie suffers any loss, it’s not only the filmmakers and actors who bear the brunt, but, distributors too suffer. However, our generous Salman has not led the burden fall on anyone. He has himself decided to bear the burden of it. Salman has agreed to pay the distributors a total of pay Rs 55 crore. The film till now has only managed to earn Rs 114.50 crore net at the Indian box office.

Salim Khan, Salman’s father said, “I’ve been in this business for a while.” He added, “People who have been here, they do this, and you have to be fair. When Rajinikanth’s film didn’t work, he returned the money. If a movie doesn’t work, it’s okay, but you have to bear a little bit of the loss. Let’s see how much we can bear.” He further stated, “Nobody can say what went wrong, because nobody is making a film with the intention of making a flop one.”

With his earlier movies such as Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Sultan, Bodyguard being a hit at the box office, Tubelight’s failure was quite shocking to us.
