Salman Khan To Star In Son Of Sardaar’s Sequel?

One of the biggest hits of 2012, Son of Sardaar, successfully entertained movie enthusiasts with its amazing action sequences, one liners and a Punjabi touch. Now, over three years on, Ajay Devgn is all geared up to make a sequel to the film. Reportedly, the second instalment will be titled Son of Sardaar 2 and is based on a real life story that has a significant reference in Indo-British history.

Apart from not being a comic movie like the original one, the sequel may also star superstar Salman Khan. According to reports, Ajay Devgn avidly wanted to approach the Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor for the second iteration. Sources also claim that the Golmaal: Fun Unlimited actor has already talked about the project with his Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam co-star.

“It will be a huge thing if Salman plays the central role now, but Devgn and Salman have definitely spoken about this very seriously”, stated a source. The sequel is reportedly scheduled for a Diwali release in 2017.
