Not Shah Rukh Khan But This Khan Was Aanand L Rai's First Choice For His Dwarf Film!

It’s a known fact that Anand L. Rai’s upcoming action comedy will feature Shah Rukh Khan playing a dwarf. However, not the Baadshah of Bollywood but Salman Khan was the initial choice for the film. As per an interview with DNA way back in 2015, Rai had confirmed that his film will star the Tubelight actor.

“Salman will be playing a dwarf in the film”, Rai had stated back then. Ahead of his statement came rumours of Salman abandoning the project. It was said then that the project was abandoned but Rai junked the rumours, saying, “The project was never shelved. Bhai is a busy man. We haven’t yet locked his dates. But he has heard the story and he liked it. He has okayed it”.

It’s been more than two years to that interview and now Shah Rukh will be seen essaying the lead role. However, the movie will star Salman in a special role. The yet-to-be titled movie, which was earlier said to be titled ‘Katrina Meri Jaan’, also stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in significant roles.
