Not Jacqueline, This Actress Will Romance Salman Khan In Kick 2!

Salman Khan starrer Kick was no doubt one of the biggest hits. The movie got actress Jacqueline Fernandez the needed recognition. The film released three years ago in 2014.

After its release, reports emerged that the sequel to this super hit is being made. However, nothing except the rumours hit the town. But now, we have heard that the sequel of the film is happening. If reports are to go by, the makers are working on the script.

If everything is finalised the film will go on floors soon and will hit the theatres during Christmas 2019. As soon as fans got to know about the sequel, they became excited as they thought they will again get to see the sizzling chemistry between Salman and Jacqueline. However, we have some piece of information which may not go down well with quite some of you.

Though Kick 2 is happening, but it will star not star the old pairing. But, Salman Khan fans don’t worry as your favourite star will be there to entertain you in the sequel. A source revealed that Deepika Padukone will step into Jacqueline’s shoes. Apparently, the makers wanted a fresh pairing for the sequel as it is going to be a different film with new characters. The makers were looking for an actress who hasn’t worked with Bhai earlier and they thought that Deepika fit the bill. Won’t it be exciting to see Salman romancing Deepika?

“Deepika Padukone is being considered for Kick 2 with the film going on floors sometime next year. As Jacqueline and Salman are already working together in Race 3, it only makes sense to give audience a fresh pairing. However, the final call is up to Sajid and Salman,” revealed a source.

If not Kick 2, you can surely see Salman and Jacqueline’s blazing chemistry in Race 3, the shooting of which will start once the 51-year-old wraps up shooting of Tiger Zinda Hai. Deepika Padukone on the other hand is busy with Padmavati.
