Salman Khan's Bodyguard Shera Says, 'Justin Bieber Is Just Like Every Other Boy'

Grammy award winner Justin Bieber enraptured his Indian fans on May 10 as he wrapped his first-ever concert in the country with great splendour. The singing sensation was welcomed by the nation wholeheartedly but he left some of his fans disappointed as the news of him lip syncing broke. Well, the concert is over but it seems like Bieber has got a new admirer from India.

While a lot of people prayed for a glimpse of the pop singer, Salman Khan’s bodyguard Shera became the lucky one to escort Bieber on his maiden India concert. Recently, Shera shared his experience with Bieber in an interview. “I got a call from White Fox about two months ago, when they asked me to send in my portfolio. They thought I could handle it. I was deployed with Justin 24X7. I took him to see the Gateway of India, we went for a walk, he wanted to stop for a coffee, and I even took him to Shivaji Park where he played some football with the kids”, he said.

Non-Beliebers have made the superstar a regular victim of Internet trolls. Youtube videos showing the aggressive side of Bieber are no secret to anyone. But, Shera has something else to reveal. He divulged, “He loves spending time with kids and so that's what he did. He is a boy, just like every other boy, He wants his personal space. He wants to be left alone. He wants to do his own thing. In short, he just wants to live his life. On the night I took him to see Mumbai, he (Justin) told me, ‘I like travelling like this’”.

The Canadian singer has earlier professed being a fan of Indian food in an interview. Bieber promised to return to India as he said, “I really love you guys, it’s a privilege to be here and I’ll surely be back here again”, during the concert. Apparently, Indian fans didn’t leave the pop star displeased.
