After Padmaavat, Here's What Sanjay Leela Bhansali Is Planning To Make Next!

After mired in controversies, Sanjay Leela Bhansali ’s Padmaavat finally saw the light of the day on January 25, 2108. The movie which starred Deepika Padukone , Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor has set cash registers ringing at the box office. The movie has been appreciated by audience.

The latest buzz is that the filmmaker is in talks with writer Amish Tripathi for the rights of his book, The Immortals of Meluha, which is the first novel in the Shiva Trilogy series. However, when asked from the writer, he said that he is not interested in talking about things that are under discussion. Recently, when Amish was asked about the filmmaker who could do justice to his characters, he said, “There one of the problems even if a rich epic tradition but in filmmaking there are very few filmmakers who rarely go with this epic tradition and you know who they are.”

Earlier, Tripathi had given the rights of his book to Karan Johar . But, Karan could not make adapt the book into a movie and had to surrender the rights. The novel is set in Melunhans’ land and begins with the arrival of Shiva. The Meluhans consider Shiva as Neelkanth, their saviour. Shiva begins his mission to find his real self when the Melhuans battle it out with Chandravanshis and Nagas.
