Sarfarosh 2 in making?

Mr. Perfectionist of Bollywood Aamir Khan has finished the shooting of his upcoming flick Dhoom 3 and now it is heard that the actor is eagerly waiting to do a sequel to 1999 hit flick Sarfarosh. The director of original Sarfarosh, John Matthew Matthan disclosed the information of Aamir being in touch with him and offered him to pen a script for Sarfarosh 2. The director stated, "Yes, Aamir has called me. He has spoken about it to me and the possibility of writing a sequel. I haven't started work on it. It is too early to talk about it."

Sarfarosh was an action-drama flick where Aamir portrayed a ghazal-loving, terrorist-chasing policeman. The film featured Sonali Bendre and Naseeruddin Shah in pivotal roles alongside Aamir. The movie depicted tensions between India and Pakistan and it is also known for its anti-Pakistan sentiment. It is also learnt that the 48-year-old is planning to produce it as well. The actor is right now working on Rajkumar Hirani’s project Peekay scheduled to release next year.
