Sarkar 3 Will Have Jackie Shroff As Villian?

The last film from the well-liked movie franchise Sarkar was made in year 2008. And now after the gap of 8-long years, Ram Gopal Varma is coming back with its third iteration in which Amitabh Bachchan will reprise his role from the first two films. It is also being heard that the director is planning to add Jackie Shroff in the franchise this time.

Reportedly, the Devdas actor has been approached to play an antagonist in the film and he has agreed to do the same. However, he has not signed the project yet. Jackie was last in Chalk n Duster that released in January this year.

Well, there’s more news on this front. It is being said that both Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who had played pivotal roles in Sarkar Raj, won’t be part of Sarkar 3. Varma has himself confirmed the news, he said, “Abhishek’s character died in the second film, Aishwarya too won’t be a part of Sarkar 3. The film will focus on Sarkar's life with a completely new set of characters who were not a part of the earlier films”.

Rumours are swimming across that Suniel Shetty and Yami Gautam has been finalised to play a part in the third instalment of Sarkar. However, nothing has been said officially about the same. The movie is slated to go on the floors next year and the director, on Twitter, has promised that the “Scale of Sarkar 3 will be much more larger and intense than the earlier two”. Varma has also informed that the first look of the movie will be launched on August 26, 2017.
