When we hear this name, Prakash Jha, an image of a serious filmmaker comes up in our mind. And there’s nothing false in that, the director has a genre of his own that touches social picks of our society. Though he says that topics are social and he never picks a topic to make a social film on. His next film, Satyagraha is about a relationship between a grieving father and his son whose values never meet but a bond between them makes them deal with the corrupt system and society.

Satyagraha is set to release on August 23, a week after Independence Day. The film features Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Arjun Rampal, Amrita Rao and Kareena Kapoor in the lead roles. The director believes that every movie doesn’t require songs and dance to entertain the audience but a story and a good plot can do a lot to the viewers to cherish though he finds it a tough task to maintain a balance between keeping the viewers happy along with the critics.
