After hearing the case, magistrate Kashinath Singh has sent notices to Shah Rukh, the owner of the company that manufactures the shaving cream, a local shopkeeper and the director of Madhya Pradesh Food and Drugs Department.

Claiming that he got the cream tested at the Madhya Pradesh Food and Drugs Department, Pandey told Bhasha, “The report says the cream is of low, bad quality.”

While SRK appears in ads for VI-John shaving cream, Hindustan Times could not independently verify the report.

Shah Rukh Khan is currently gearing up for the release of Imtiaz Ali’s next, Jab Harry Met Sejal , opposite Anushka Sharma. The actors will be in Delhi to launch the latest song from the film, on Wednesday.
