Here's what's happening with SRK and Mahira starrer Raees

The set for actor Shah Rukh Khan and Mahira Khan-starrer Raees is being made at Film City, Mumbai. Raees is set in the 80’s and the team is recreating certain parts of Ahmedabad from that time. Check out the pics:

“Ahmedabad has changed a lot since then in terms of architecture and manner of living. So the team had no option but to recreate the city. Also, they have some action sequences which they would prefer to shoot indoors rather than on a real location. It is a massive set up and there is work going on around the clock,” says a source. The team is looking into minor and intricate details and trying to ensure that the set is complete at the earliest.

The film is being helmed by Rahul Dholakia, and has SRK playing the larger-than-life gangster, while Pakistani actor Mahira Khan plays his love-interest. And Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be seen playing a cop.
