Shah Rukh Khan starts shooting for ‘Raees’

Bollywood super star Shah Rukh Khan has begun shooting for director Rahul Dholakia’s next project - Raees. The movie, which also stars Mahira Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui, had gone on floors on April 10. King Khan took to micro-blogging site Twitter to share the news with his fans. First day on Raees. SRK tweeted - Hot but heartening. And KKR starts its match. Go boys….cheering you from the sets.

The much awaited movie, Raees is an action-thriller film which tells the story of a bootlegger, whose business is foiled by a policeman. SRK is playing the character of a Gujarati don in the movie whereas Nawazuddin plays the cop. If sources are to be believed, the movie is likely to hit the screens on Eid next year.

With this movie, Pakistani actress Mahira Khan will mark her debut in Bollywood.  She is popular for playing Khirad in the hit Pakistani show, Humsafar. Another co-star from the show, Fawad Khan has already made his first appearance in Bollywood with Khoobsurat, opposite fashionista Sonam Kapoor.
