Shahid Kapoor Donning The Soldier Look

Haider actor Shahid Kapoor has released a still from the upcoming film Rangoon. The image shows Shahid in a soldier’s uniform, sporting a moustache. The actor was recently seen in the film Shaandaar, which did not perform as expected. Shahid decided that he would now chose the scripts more carefully.

Rangoon will have Shahid working alongside Saif Ali Khan and Kangana Ranaut. The movie will be directed by Vishal Bhardwaj. It will be based in the 1940s during World War II and will be a period love story. The director plans to leave no stone unturned for this project and will be developing it on a grand scale.

The Sugarland Express screenplay writer Matthew Robbins and Monsoon Wedding writer Sabrina Dhawan have written the script for Rangoon. The movie will be shot in Mumbai, Arunachal Pradesh and the United States. Will Rangoon be a chance of redemption for Shahid Kapoor?, only time will tell.
