Are These Shahid Kapoor's Future Projects After Padmavati?

Shahid Kapoor is currently shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’ which also stars Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Hydari. The movie will feature Deepika as queen ‘Padmavati’, while Shahid will play her husband Raja Rawal Ratan Singh - King of Chittor. And now we have heard that Shahid has been approached for another film which will be produced by Prernaa Arora from KriArj Entertainment.

It is been reported that the production house is in talks with Shahid to star in the flick. Touted to be a social entertainer, the movie is tentatively titled ‘Roshni’. Vipul K. Rawal, who penned the script for Akshay Kumar’s Rustam, will write the script for ‘Roshni’ too.

Buzz was that ‘Toilet - Ek Prem Katha’'s director Shree Narayan Singh would be helming the film. However, sources close to the director denied the news saying, “It isn't confirmed, yet." When asked from Narayan whether he is directing ‘Roshni’, he said, “Yes, I am in talks with Shahid but not sure for which film. Right now, I am heading out for a break of 10 to 15 days. There is a script called Roshini written by Vipul but not sure that I would be directing it."

It was also speculated that Shahid has been approached by Sanjay Leela Bhansali to star in his next film titled ‘Tuesdays And Fridays’. When asked from Shahid about the same, he said, "I read about it. But I haven't signed anything after Padmavati. So wait for an announcement."
