Shahid Kapoor’s first look revealed amazing his fans

Shahid Kapoor’s Haider is one of those films which are listed in the must-watch category in 2014. Vishal Bhardwaj’s Hindi adaption of Shakespeare’s Hamlet will see Shahid in a complete new look which is perhaps his best ever. With cropped hair and trimmed beard Shahid has simply wowed everyone and the first look has been tweeted by the actor himself.

Shahid said he is blindly following Bhardwaj’s directions to get deep into the skin of his character which is the Indian version of Hamlet. Haider, also starring Tabu, Shraddha Kapoor, Kay Kay Menon and Irrfan Khan, has been set against the backdrop of terrorism in Kashmir. The actor said further, “I believe in the script and have completely surrendered to Vishal sir’s vision of my character and my look.” Director Bhardwaj’s input says, “Its commendable the dedication with which Shahid bit into his role and its every aspect. And he is doing complete justice to ‘Haider’.” The film, which is undergoing production at a brisk pace in Kashmir valley, is scheduled to release on September 12. Earlier Bhardwaj has impressed his audience with his adaptations of two Shakespearean tragedies, Macbeth as Maqbool and Othello as Omkara.
