Shahrukh denies being offered a biopic on ‘Hockey Legend Dhyan Chand’

While the stories about ‘Indian Hockey Legend’ Dhayn Chand’s life journey turning into a cinematic vision have been doing the rounds, superstar Shahrukh Khan has quashed rumours about doing a film like that. The actor told that he hasn’t been offered any role like that.

“No I am not doing Dhyan Chand Biopic. No one has offered me this role.I don’t know what the story is. My father had told me a lot about Milkha Singh, Dhyan Chand and Muhammad Ali (the Boxer). So, I have a huge respect for all of them. For me, they’ve been an inspiration for all these years. So if I am offered the role, I will be thrilled! But for now, nobody has offered me the role!” Shahrukh said while present to attend an award function. The actor after having played a hockey coach in Chak De India may perhaps not get involved in the project, but considering his keen interests in sports, no one can have the final say. Shahrukh is currently shooting for his film Fan and then begins working on Rahul Dholakia’s Raees.
