Shahrukh wishes to work with Aamir, says he’s on for sharing screen with him

What has always remained an unfulfilled desire of the Indian audiences over the last twenty years is to watch the three Khans in a film together. If not so, at least the likes of King Khan and Mr. Perfectionist jointly, but since it has rolled out, nothing could really materialise. There have been speculations made always, rumours have spread but nothing really has substantiated. SRK in fact, recently expressed that he’s always open for working in a film with Aamir, but there has to be a director and a justifying story.

"If there's a director who has a two hero film, it will be good. For us to make it on our own, that won’t happen, I think. If there's a director who has a two hero film, it will be good if we do a film together. We know each other for so long. We've worked together for such a long time, we’re friends, we've done world tours together. We also discuss a lot of things together," Shahrukh said. One other aspect that Shahrukh spoke about, which he was completely justified for was the construction of a script that could accommodate both these actors comfortably. With stars of such magnitude, there has to be a story good enough to pay equal respect to both. "It will be nice if there's a producer-director, who can write, make a film for us and then bear the stress of comparison. Media will say, Aamir has cut Shahrukh’s role, Shah Rukh has edited Aamir’s, but I think it will be really nice if we get an opportunity to work together," said a candid King Khan.

While Aamir and Shahrukh have never really creatively collaborated, Salman has had the chance of working with both. While the Dabangg Khan has worked with SRK in films like Karan Arjun, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam, he has also shared a wonderful chemistry with Aamir in the cult Andaz Apna Apna. It only goes to tell that the people are long in waiting to see Shahrukh-Aamir coming together, which doesn’t really seem like happening anytime soon.
