Shamita Shetty Expected More From Bollywood

There is absolutely no denying that Shamita Shetty is one of the most bewitching actresses in Bollywood. At the same time, it’s no secret that the Mohabbatein star could not sizzle at the box office and establish herself as a successful actress in the film industry. People who had been thinking what the actress is up to these days might want to know if she has taken a sabbatical from acting. Recently, the 37-year-old actress shared that she feels opportunities that would have helped her explore her talent in acting haven’t knocked her door in the long run.

When Shamita was asked to compare acting and dancing, she stated, “Dancing is my passion of course and so is acting. I think, I am not really been given a chance to explore acting that much unfortunately, but I hope to do that in new future”. The actress had been a contestant of ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded’.

"I think 'Jhalak...' kind of reintroduced me back to the entertainment industry. Right now, I am busy with lots of events in terms of dancing but I have not signed any new projects. However, I am looking at doing some interesting work on TV as I am getting some offers there. I am looking for something different there”, the Zeher actress added.

Though, Shamita has been away from the limelight for quite some time from now, her catchy dance moves in the song ‘Sharara Sharara’ are remarkable to date. Well, we wish the actress strokes of luck for her future projects.
