The ever-gorgeous Sharmila Tagore has recently expressed her heart felt wish that she wants a biopic to be made on the life and times of her late husband Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi. Commonly known as Tiger Pataudi, he was an Indian cricketer and the youngest cricket captain to lead the team. On asking whom does she want to see as the lead pair in the film, she took Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s names.

While addressing media during Lux Golden Rose awards, Sharmila was quoted as saying, “Yes, of course I would like a movie to be made on Mansoor Ali Khan. If someone really directs it properly, and with proper research, I think I would like it. I think his life has got a lot of things, about the accident, about losing his father and playing cricket with such a handicap”.

When media asked who could best play her on the screen, the Safar star said, "That's a real challenge. What about Alia Bhatt?" And when asked whom she would like to see in the role of Tiger, she said, "I really don't know. Somebody who looks like Tiger. May be Ranbir Kapoor or somebody in the family”.

The multiple times National Award winning actress also talked about her family trust working closely to assist the victims of acid attack. The 71-year-old actress said, "We have a trust, Pataudi Trust, we support acid attack victims. I think as a woman and as an actor, we are so involved with the physical attributes. So I cannot imagine it as a woman, that just because someone said no, you throw acid on her, this is terrible. I am restoring their faces”.
