Shekhar Ravjiani Says, ‘I Don’t Wish To Make Career In Acting’

The 37-year-old singer, Shekhar Ravjiani, is not only known for his super hit compositions, but also for his alluring looks. He lately tried his hand in acting with the movie, ‘Neerja’. Shekhar played Jaideep, Neerja’s friend.

His acting was highly admired. "Immediately after 'Neerja', a British casting agent offered me to do the first holographic theatre performance in London called 'Symphony to a Lost Generation'. So I am the only Indian actor to be a part of that," Shekhar told IANS.

Shekhar shares an unmatchable rapport with singer-composer Vishal Dadlani. Their famous duo, recognized as ‘Vishal–Shekhar’, has composed many blockbuster songs and albums. Shekhar is currently working as a mentor in a TV show, ‘The Voice India Kids’, with singers, Shaan and Neeti Mohan. His singing compositions can be heard in the forthcoming films ‘Akira’, ‘Banjo’ and ‘Befikre’.
