Shoaib Akhtar: “I’d like to see Salman Khan playing my role in the biopic”

Former Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Akhtar has disclosed something really interesting. In an e-mail interview with IANS, Shoaib expressed his desire to see Bollywood superstar Salman khan playing his role in a biopic made on him. He also said that it is totally up to his fans and filmmakers if they really wish to see or make a film based on his life.

The Rawalpindi Express is very well aware of the fact that biopics are all the rage these days. He said, “I know that is the trend these days, but I am no one to decide that. If people think that my life is interesting and inspiring, then they can make a movie out of it. If not, then let it be. It is for fans and filmmakers to decide”. Expressing his desire, the cricketer said, “I’d like to see Salman Khan playing my role in the biopic, if that happens”.

Recently, many biographical films like Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Mary Kom, Azhar and Sultan have been made on the lives of sports personalities. Presently, Akhtar is all set to judge a comedy show along with Harbhajan Singh. The show will soon be aired on Life OK channel.
