Shraddha all set to sizzle the screens with her first item number

Actress Shraddha Kapoor,who isknown for her girl-next-door image, is all set to appear in a glam avatar for her next ‘Ungli’ opposite Emraan Hashmi. Besides Emraan and Shraddha, the movie will also starKangana Ranaut in the lead role.Shraddha will reportedly be doing her first item number in the movie.

"I don't know whether to call it an item song or a promotional song, but yes, it's a very different thing that I am doing," said the beautiful actress. "Karan offered me the song and said: 'You have never been seen like this before. It's a very glamorous song.' So all that excited me and I said yes to it. The moment I heard the song, I was all the more excited as it's such a catchy song," she further added.

Shraddhaturns sexy dance diva – Basanti for Karan Johar's this venture. When asked if the song had any relevance with Hema Malini's character Basanti from the film Sholay, she replied, "I guess, it's definitely a take from original Basanti. It's a modern day twist. I can't compare myself with Hemaji's Basanti. She is the original legendary Basanti."
