Shruti Haasan ‘Protective’ About Younger Sister Akshara

Kamal Haasan’s daughters, Shruti Haasan and Akshara, have made it big in the entertainment industry. While Shruti has made a mark as singer-composer besides acting, Akshara is also active as assistant director in the industry. The Welcome Back actress has recently revealed that she is quite protective about her younger sister.

“I'm very protective about Akshara and also very proud of her achievements. I can't wait to see her do more and make us all proud”, the Gabbar is Back actress told IANS. Akshara debuted in Bollywood with R. Balki’s Shamitabh.

Shruti also shared that she is had no plans of taking acting as a career and that it happened by chance. “I never planned to be an actress in Bollywood as I never felt I could look the part. I always wanted to get into music - I am particularly passionate about composing”, she said.
