Shruti Haasan’s record breaking session in the recording studio

Actress Shruti Haasan is in the looks of giving a run for money to all the leading female vocalists in town. While the world is aware of her amazing singing ability, she managed a new high while recording a song for ‘Gabbar is Back’.

According to a source, Shruti who was shooting for one of her films in Tamil Nadu flew to Mumbai and recorded her track in just one hour. “Shruti was shooting in the village of Pollachi for one of her Tamil films. After a two-hour car ride to Coimbatore and then a flight to Mumbai, Shruti landed and went straight into the recording studio. She had prepped the song in advance and had worked on the voicing so that she can maximise her output at the studio. And that’s exactly what happened. The musicdirector got what he wanted from her for the entire song within an hour, post which she took a flight back to resume her shoot in Pollachi,” the source told.

Gabbar is Back is directed by Krish and stars Akshay Kumar besides Shruti as the female lead. Shruti had earlier voiced for songs in movies like Tevar and Shamitabh.
