Shuddh Desi Romance: First look revealed featuring Sushant Singh Rajput, Parineeti Chopra

Yash Raj Film's upcoming venture, Shuddh Desi Romance, starring National Award winning actress Parineeti Chopra and Sushant Singh Rajput of Kai Po Che fame, has released its first look poster.

The first look of the film looks like a combination of yesteryear images and manually painted posters of the actors. It seems that the film will go back to the yesteryears of Bollywood romance this September. The title is also quite interesting and strange and the movie is directed by Maneesh Sharma.

YRF issued a statement saying, the movie will be a "fresh and very real love story about the hair-raising minefield between love, attraction and commitment.” The statement added, "Finally, a romantic comedy that tells it like it is.” The film’s plot has also been described as "classy, candid look at the affairs of the heart in today's desi heartland.” Shuddh Desi Romance also stars veteran actor Rishi Kapoor and debutant Vaani Kapoor. The movie, produced by Aditya Chopra with background music by Sachin-Jigar, will hit the cinemas on September 13.
