Sidharth Malhotra and Katrina Kaif pair up for Nitya Mehra’s directorial debut

We might have a fresh, strange but welcoming Jodi coming up on screen as reports flying around spark a surprise. Sidharth Malhotra and Katrina Kaif have apparently been signed together for Nitya Mehra’s directorial debut which is yet untitled.

Nitya, who has been an assistant of Farhan Akhtar for a long time was ready with a script quite a while ago. While she wanted Aamir Khan and later Hrithik Roshan to come on board, it couldn’t happen since both actors had prior commitments. The actor who came to Nitya’s rescue was Sidharth Malhotra, who reportedly loved the script and agreed instantly.
