Sidharth Malhotra 'Irritated' With Padman and Aiyaary Clash?

Sidharth Malhotra, who is all set to be seen in the upcoming film Aiyaary in a crucial role has said that he feels clash between the Akshay Kumar starrer and his film could have been avoided. However as there is no time now, the actor said he can only hope for the best. Aiyaari was actually supposed to release on January 25th as it is inclined to patriotism.

However, after Padmavat’s release date was out, the makers of Aiyaary changed its release date to February 9 so that it doesn’t clash with the other two big movies Padman and Padmavat. When asked by IANS Sidharth stated, “Yes, it irritates, but now it’s too late. What can we do now? Look, we announced the date first. When ‘Pad Man’ makers unveiled their release date, we were gracious enough to shift our release date to avoid the clash”.

He further added that he is confident about his film and he thinks that the fate of the film will speak for itself. The actor will be seen as an Army officer whose ideology differs from another senior officer, played by Manoj Bajpayee. The film also stars Rakul Preet Singh , Anupam Kher and Naseeruddin Shah in key roles.
