Sidharth Malhotra Shares His Thoughts On Direction And Production

Student of the Year actor Sidharth Malhotra started his career with Karan Johar’s ‘My Name Is Khan’ where he was an assistant director. While he has no plans of directing anytime soon, the actor recently shared that direction is something that is always at the back of his mind. He likes the process of filmmaking and would like to take charge of a project, someday.

“Direction is something that is at the back of my mind all the time. I like the process of filmmaking. I love how a film is edited, I absolutely love it when somebody puts up a good shot, I have immense respect for filmmakers, who do it everyday”, Sidharth shared. He added that at the moment, he wants to tell stories as an actor.

The Kapoor and Sons actor also spoke about production and said that if he feels passionate about a project, he would definitely put his name on it, as a producer. “I definitely see myself doing that in the future because there are so many interesting stories to tell and sometimes, actors want to collaborate”, he added. Sidharth was last seen in ‘Baar Baar Dekho’ where he shared screen space with Katrina Kaif.
