Singham 2: Kareena Kapoor Khan for female lead, Amole Gupte for villainous role

The news has just come under the light that elegant actress Kareena Kapoor has been roped in by the makers of Singham 2 for the lead role in the movie. A source informed, “Rohit rewrote the script in such a way that Kareena has got a substantial role to play in the film. So she met Rohit again and consented. Final script of Singham 2 looks so fabulous.”

Singham 2 will be a directorial piece of Rohit Shetty who has given one of the biggest hits of 2013 i.e. Chennai Express. Rohit and Bebo have worked together in Golmaal Returns and Golmaal 3 and their collaboration for another movie will be something that the fans of the two must be waiting for. The news is this also that Amole Gupte has also been roped in to play a negative shade in the flick.

The male lead of the film will remain in the hands of Ajay Devgan who has played the key role in the first part, Singham (2011) as well. It is also being marked that Kareena’s role in the movie will be as vital as Ajay’s. The film has not kissed the floors yet and its release date is still to be stated.
