Sister clash averted as YRF postpones Daawat-e-Ishq’s release

While the industry had geared itself up for yet another Priyanka-Parineeti clash on 5^th September, YRF has come out with some disappointment. The much anticipated clash on September 5^th that was to see Priyanka Chopra’s Mary Kom and Parineeti Chopra’s Daawat-e-Ishq battling out at box office has now been averted with Daawat-e-Ishq being pushed to 19^th of September.

The premise had been set for an eventful Friday on 5^th yet again after the sisters clashed last year with Zanjeer and Shuddh Desi Romance. While Parineeti won that battle with all guns blazing, this year was looking solid for Priyanka with Mary Kom garnering maximum buzz. YRF who rationale this delay in order to give more time to promotion for this Habib Faisal movie, say it’s just the better thing to do. With Daawat-e-Ishq moving two weeks ahead, 19^th of September becomes even more crowded. The date is already loaded with many releases and Daawat-e-Ishq loads it up. 19^th will now have Khoobsurat, Ugly,Tamanchey, Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami, Roar and  Dr. Cabbie along with this Parineeti and Aditya Roy Kapoor starrer flick meeting their fate at the box office. This gives Mary Kom a clear ground to wave its flag and put up some good numbers.
