Sonakshi Sinha Makes Singing Debut With T-Series’ 'Ishqoholic'

For long, Sonakshi Sinha has wanted to try her hands in singing. She has exercised her vocal chords in a recent award function and has also expressed her wish to sing while judging singing realty TV show, Indian Idol. At that time, music composer Vishal-Shekhar had promised the Dabangg actress to give her an opportunity to sing in their next film together, which is Akira. But before that could happen, Bhushan Kumar, the head of T-Series has heard Sonakshi’s impending wish.

Now that T-Series are returning with the era of music videos, they have made another one to be sung by Sonakshi. The song titled ‘Ishqoholic’ has been composed by Meet Bros. The Tevar actress has revealed, “The video for the song will be shot later this month, by Gifty whom I have worked with on the Desi Kalakaar number along with Yo Yo Honey Singh”.

Bhushan Kumar, who is excited to work with Sonakshi, said, “Sonakshi has a beautiful voice and the song has turned out to be very likeable and easy to hum. I am so glad we got a chance to work on something which binds the world together – music. Ishqoholic will make her fans see the unseen unheard side of her and cherry on the top is that they will hear her rap too. The song will welcome Sonakshi to the music world easily”.
