Sonakshi Sinha says she loves Bengali tradition and attire
Sonakshi has done many films since she began her career in 2010 with Dabangg but the26-year-old says that she lovesBengali tradition the most. Sonakshi essayed the role of a 1950’s Bengali girl in Lootera, where she was a daughter to a Zamindar and this time again, she will perform a contemporary Bengali girl in a forthcoming venture Bullett Raja.
The actress made a statement regarding same, “This is for the second time I am playing a Bengali girl. I have played a Bengali in 'Lootera', but that was drastically different. In 'Bullett Raja', I am playing a contemporary Bengali girl. I loved my look for the Bengali avatar.” She further added, “It gave me a very traditional feel. I wish the sequence we shot in that costume was a little longer, because I did not want to get out of it.”
Sonakshi says that Bengali attire is graceful and she loves donning this look, “Once I was in it everyone was shocked at how Bengali I looked.”The actress will be seen in a Bengali folk dance named Jhumur in Bullett Raja. Directed and co-produced by Tigmanshu Dhulia, the flick is based on Uttar Pradesh mafia starring Saif Ali Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, Jimmy Shergill and few others in lead role.
