Sonakshi Sinha Starrer ‘Akira’ Ropes In Akshay Kumar For A Cameo

‘Akira’ is one of the most awaited flicks of the year. It is the remake of Tamil film ‘Mouna Guru’ by Santha Kumar. Sonakshi Sinha is playing the lead role in this remake. As per the latest hearsay, the Khiladi of Bollywood, Akshay Kumar, has been roped in to play a cameo in this impending venture.

As per Filmfare reports, the Akshay’s special cameo was kept as a secret by the makers. Moreover, the ‘Airlift’ actor recently promoted this film through a social media platform. ‘Akira’ is an action drama film co-written, produced and directed by veteran filmmaker A. R. Murugadoss.

The music of the film is scored by Vishal-Shekhar and it has a total of six tracks. ‘Akira’ is likely to hit the cinema screens on September 2 worldwide. Akshay and Sonakshi Sinha have previously worked together and have delivered multiple blockbusters, including ‘Rowdy Rathore’ and ‘Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty’.
