Sonakshi Sinha Talks About Akira

Rowdy Rathore actress Sonakshi Sinha recently opened up about her upcoming film ‘Akira’. The movie, directed by A.R. Murugadoss, has kept the actress quite busy. She was last seen on screen in ‘Tevar’ which was released in 2015.

Talking about the film which has the actress performing action sequences for the first time, Sonakshi shared, “It was quite an intent and gruelling shoot. I have got three injuries till now -- once my wrist got injured, then my knee and later my back. Akira is complete and is in post production now. The release date will be announced soon”.

The 28-year-old actress is also part the action movie ‘Force 2’, which is a sequel to the 2011 film ‘Force’. The movie brings back John Abraham as the lead actor and also introduces Tahir Bhasin of ‘Mardaani’ fame. Sonakshi also spoke about ‘Force 2’ and revealed, “The film is progressing well, we are going to resume shoot in mid-April after which the film will be complete”. The movie is being produced by Vipul Shah who also produced ‘Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty’.
