Sonakshi’s women centric film with A.R. Murugadoss all set to roll

The announcement had created a lot of hustle around when Sonakshi Sinha signed the women centric action film by A.R. Murugdas. Now with everything done and settled, the film is all set to go on the floors.

The yet untitled film is apparently a remake of Murgudas’s Tamil hit Mounaguru and will also have Sonakshi’s father Shatrughan Sinha in a brief but important role. Earlier reports had revealed that Sonakshi will be seen playing with a lot of action sequences as the project is said to be a women focused action drama. A source close to the project revealed that film will go on the floors this Saturday. “The film goes on floors on March 14. Murugdas has also roped in Sonakshi’s father to essay a brief but important role,” the source told.

Sonakshi who earlier worked with A.R. Murugdas in Holiday: A Soldier is Never Off Duty will be seen a solo centric role for the first time. Let’s see if the filmmaker is able to maintain the impressive Hindi record what he has created with Ghajini and Holiday.
