Sons of Sardaar: Action Packed War Film Based on True Story

The Legend of Bhagat Singh fetched Ajay Devgn a national award; once again the Drishyam star is gearing up to essay the role of another historical character in ‘Sons of Sardaar’, which is the sequel to 2012 film Son of Sardaar. The Golmaal actor will be seen playing the role of a Sikh commander, Havildar Ishar Singh, in the flick, which will be based on the famous 1897 battle of Saragarhi. The film is about the Saragarhi Sikhs, who died fighting 10,000 Afghans.

Ajay revealed the news on Twitter, writing, “Need ur best wishes for Sons Of Sardaar, will match the scale of Hollywood war film 300 and based on epic Battle of Saragarhi. Diwali 2017”. The sequel to Son of Sardaar won’t be an out-an-out comedy like the original film but will be packed with action and drama.

Reportedly, Ajay wants the flick to have gigantic visual effects just like Baahubali. The patriotic film will perhaps be one of the best war films of Bollywood. The film will go on floors after Ajay wraps up Shivaay.
