Sonu Sood not disappointed with losing Sher Khans role in Zanjeer remake

Mumbai -- Despite losing the race of playing Sher Khan in Zanjeer remake to Arjun Rampal, Dabangg star Sonu Sood is not disappointed and feels that it was not his destiny to essay the role. Earlier, it was reported that director Apoorva Lakhia is considering the name of Sonu for the character of Sher Khan, originally played by veteran actor Pran who sported a typical Pathan's look with long hair and kohl. The actor said, "No I am not missing doing the role. Apoorva (director) is a great friend. I know Arjun will do a good job. I feel it is all destiny... whichever character is written for an actor, he gets to do that. The script is great, so it does not matter whether Arjun does the role or me. As far as the film is good, it should not be a problem!" He added, "I am sure they will make a good film. I am looking forward to the film. I have always enjoyed watching Zanjeer". Besides Arjun, Priyanka Chopra, Ram Charan Teja, Prakash Raj and Mahi Gill are doing lead roles in the remake of Prakash Mehra's 1973 hit film.
