Spyder teaser pits Mahesh Babu’s intelligence officer against SJ Suryah’s ‘tsunami’

On the occasion of Mahesh Babu’s 41st birthday, the teaser of his highly anticipated upcoming spy thriller Spyder was released on Wednesday. Going by the visuals, we can be assured that we are in a great clash between good and evil. The good, needless to say is Mahesh Babu, and he looks majestic as ever in the teaser. The evil will be actor-filmmaker SJ Suryah who sends chills down our spine with his maniacal avatar. His face-off with Mahesh Babu will end in fireworks in theatres and it’s going to be an epic clash.

“Like government, earthquake, and tsunami, I also make contributions to keeping the growing population under control,” Suryah says with a sack on his face, which reminds us of Batman villain, Scarecrow, played by Cillian Murphy in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises.

Tipped to be a thriller based on bio-terrorism, the film has been directed by AR Murugadoss, best known for blockbusters such as Kaththi and Thuppakki. In the film, Mahesh plays an Intelligence Bureau officer and he is said to have performed most of the stunts on his own.
