Shah Rukh Khan won all the praises from the critics and audiences for his amazing performance in My Name Is Khan when it released in 2009. But it is only in August that renowned author Paulo Coelho happened to watch the Karan Johar directorial. He has praised SRK’s performance on Twitter back in August and now after watching several films starring the King Khan, Paulo Coelho has declared that he deserves an Oscar.

After watching My Name Is Khan, Paulo Coelho expressed his desire to watch several more films of the superstar. When the Baadshah star came across Coelho’s tweet, he sent him the DVDs of his best films, which include Chak De India, Swades, Asoka, Ra.One, Don and Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna. After having watched these films, Coelho seems to have remained awestruck by the actor's charisma.

Paulo Coelho wrote on Facebook, “His fist (and only) movie that I watched (this year, even if it was released in 2008) was My name is Khan. And not only the movie was excellent, but SRK deserved an Oscar if Hollywood was not manipulated. He kindly offered to send the other titles - as you probably guess, it is not easy to find them in Switzerland”.
