SRK starrer Raees: Dates of shoot on hold

 Held in the speculative business for too long, Bolly-Badshah Shahrukh Khan starrer Raees is yet to go on floors. Directed by Rahul Dholakia, the Excel Entertainment production also stars Farhan Akhtar.

The reports that were doing the rounds a few days back stated that Raees has been postponed and the schedule remains unclear to which director Rahul Dholakia came out on Twitter and tweeted “For #Raees to release, it has to finish and for it to finish it has to start and for it to start, prior commitments have to end – Hai Na?” Shahrukh who is right now shooting for Farah Khan’s Happy New Year has YashRaj’s ‘Fan’ lined up to go on floors. Rohit Shetty’s film is also in the pipeline, thus for him to accommodate time to Rahul is a task.

The Recce work for Raees is however on. The unit is right now hunting locations in Mumbai and other places and may soon end the pre production completely. Raees is most likely expected to release in the last part of 2015. The uncertainty in the packed SRK schedule diary may even push the date further.
