SRK Talks About MNS’ Appeal To Boycott Dilwale

After facing the wrath for his comments on the intolerance row, Shah Rukh Khan has once again surrounded himself in another controversy. Now, the highest earning celebrity in Forbes list has been attacked by Raj Thackeray’s Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS). The party has appealed the people of the state to boycott his upcoming film Dilwale as he has not contributed to stop the suicide of poor farmers in the state. The Baadshah of Bollywood has finally spilled the beans on the appeal that has been made recently.

“We have made a positive film. So I am sure that people will watch the film”, said SRK. It seems that Shah Rukh is convinced that the people of Maharashtra wouldn’t be affected by any such appeal of MNS. As of now, if the box office collection of Rohit Shetty directorial will be affected or not remains a mystery, which will be solved only when the film will hit the theatres on December 18.

MNS had said in a statement, “Farmers in Maharashtra, especially in Marathwada, are reeling under drought. Khan, who has been residing in the state and has made a lot of money, has not helped farmers in distress. When his help is needed, he isn’t forthcoming. We are not seeking a ban. We are only appealing people to boycott the film. SRK is taking Maharashtra for granted”.
