This Actress Is Replacing Ekta Kaul In The Show ‘Mere Angne Main’ On Star Plus

Earlier, it was reported that Ekta Kaul, the lead actress of Star Plus’ ‘Mere Angne Mein’ (Sphereorigins) had quit the show. Well, this might have definitely taken a toll on the makers. ‘Mere Angne Main’ fans fret not, here comes Richa Mukherjee to the rescue. Now, the popular show has a new female lead!! The actress will be seen essaying Ekta Kaul’s role.

As per an insider, “Her character, a girl from Banaras will be shown to be a victim of domestic violence. Already married, the girl would be forced to get out of her house as her husband would have intentions of re-marriage. In a quest to end her life, she would try to commit suicide when she will be rescued by Riya’s (Ekta Kaul) family, and will be brought home.”

Richa confirmed that she is a part of ‘Mere Angne Main’ and has kick-started shooting but refused to disclose information about it. Richa Mukherjee was last seen wooing Mrunal Jain in the avatar of Urni in Nagarjun – Ek Yoddha. Let’s just hope Richa also wins fans’ hearts and keep their spirits alive.
